Mackinac Island 6th Grade Class Trip May 2008

Ok so here is my first blog. I finally uploaded the pics we took in Mackinac Island for Brys class trip in May. They had such a good time! We visited Fort Mackinac, rode a bike for 7 miles all around the island and visited Devils Kitchen & Arch Rock. And we had to do a scavanger hunt around the whole island competing against the other 6th grade teams. I must say this was such a memorable trip. We learned about all the different fudge shops and how they all came to be on the island. We even visited the 2 cemetaries on the island. Also did you know there is a golf course? Well there is. I must say I learned alot of things I never even knew about Mackinac Island as did all the kids.
